I believe our bodies are beautiful blessings, gifts which should be celebrated, not be hidden ~ compulsory clothing is the highest form of self hatred. Clothing should only serve its intended functions, to protect from the elements when needed and as an accessory on occasion. Nudity ~ skyclad ~ should be the status quo.
I am currently a student at San Francisco State University working towards my MA in LGBTQ History.
My friend found this image on flickr where it was tagged "disgusting." I asked the photographer how can one believe that our bodies are disgusting? That is the worst form of self-hatred.
It looks a bit like like ancient Athens in the modern world and it would be great if it could look like London, Sydney and some other places today that could use this freedom. Great show. Good site. Keep going.

Great response Woody. I fully agree.
Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Disgusting lies in the eyes of a mind at rest in the gutter.
If we're all created in the image of a Higher Authority, then how can we all be disgusting?

You guys rock!
Is there a real place like this? I guess this says more about where I live than anything/
