Toxic World

The world I inhabit feels toxic, tastes toxic, smells toxic, it even looks toxic. I no longer feel I fit into this world. It is as though I elicit a toxic reaction to everything I touch, taste, smell, see. Am I toxic, or is it my world which, in becoming no longer MY world, has become toxic to me?

you listened too much to Britney... ;) seriously: the 'plastic continent' (just a few centimeters below the oceanic surface), between Hawai and California and between Hawai and Japan, is a (conceptual) reality. The world becomes little by little a trash can and the capital of natural ressources are almost out of stock. In China, 89% of the drinkable water would be unfit to consumption. Almost every month, some huge pollutions happens in China (ex. 7/6/2011 in Hangzhou with phenol poured directly in the water). But in the States too ('biological hazards' we call it). An ecological revolution must happen, but is it compatible with capitalism and its permanent obsession with growth? I think it is not. So capitalism must finish OR we and earth will be finished sooner or later, and those who have gold enough to believe they will be always powerful, won't be able to eat or drink their gold...
